Case Study: Greene King EV Charging

The Argon team was contracted by RAW Charging, a hospitality specialist providing EV charging solutions, for a project at Greene King Brewery’s Head Office in Burton-on-Trent. The scope involved installing 20 EV charging stations.

We designed and delivered a tailored solution that met the needs of Greene King’s management and staff, a key client of RAW Charging. Working with our design house, we secured Network and IDNO approval for a 1000 kVA substation to power the chargers.

Our team handled all civils, ducting, cable pulling, and unit installation. We coordinated with substation specialists and the Network to complete the non-contestable joint and energise the site.

Health and safety remained a top priority throughout. The site was kept clean and tidy, and all works were completed to a high standard, meeting the expectations of Greene King’s directors and H&S officers.
