NERS Accreditation Update
NERS Accreditation Update
At Argon Utility Infrastructure, our commitment to delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality work is reflected in our accreditation under the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS).
As a nationally recognised framework operated by LRQA, NERS ensures that only competent and technically proficient contractors are approved to work on the UK’s electricity networks. Our recently issued certifications affirm our capability to carry out specialist works up to 20kV and highlight the strength of our internal management systems, training standards, and operational processes.
The first certificate covers construction, civil engineering and cable-laying activities, confirming our authority to manage and deliver infrastructure works such as excavation, reinstatement and the installation of LV, 11kV and 20kV cables.
The second certificate focuses on project management and cable jointing, recognising our expertise in the specialist tasks of connecting, terminating and maintaining power cables across the same voltage range.
Together, these accreditations demonstrate the breadth of our technical capability and our adherence to industry best practice.
For our clients, NERS accreditation provides confidence that every project is delivered with safety, precision and regulatory compliance at its core. Working with a NERS-approved contractor significantly reduces project risk, eliminates potential delays and meets the mandatory requirements of DNOs and IDNOs.
It ensures that all works - whether construction-based, civil, cable-laying or jointing - are carried out to consistent national standards using audited processes and competent personnel. At Argon Utility Infrastructure, these certifications are more than a formality; they reflect our ongoing dedication to professionalism, reliability and continuous improvement.
By choosing our team, clients gain a trusted partner capable of managing complex electrical infrastructure projects with efficiency and integrity.
